Rain and sleet will turn increasingly to snow this afternoon, heavy at times, clearing by around 6pm. This will leave cold and clear air with dry conditions lasting until 10pm. From 10pm heavy and persistent snow returns from the north. This snow continues through the night, easing off to become showery from 5am. Scattered snow showers continue through the morning tomorrow.
